2019 ICLEI 臺灣會員城市大會

甫在2018年6月結束的ICLEI 世界大會(World Congress)中，ICLEI 提出5項未來的行動指標及方向，作為城市推動相關永續低碳行動的發展依據，
包含低排放 (Low Emission)、循環 (Circular)、自然基礎 (Nature-Based)、韌性 (Resilient) 與公平人本 (Equitable and People-Centered)等發展，
並再次強調未來社會中，人口與經濟高度密集發展的各地方城市將會在環境改善行動中扮演關鍵的角色，應重視其相關減緩與調適行動的規劃與執行。
而ICLEI 本身也透過各地區秘書處與辦公室，積極推動與地區內都市的對話及合作，協助各會員城市執行相關減緩與調適行動執行，並提供建議與資源。

本次會員大會邀請熟知 ICLEI 國際事務之ICLEI 日本辦公室主席濱中裕德教授來台，與各城市分享 ICLEI 在 國際氣候行動上的觀察以及全球未來策略路徑。
此外，並邀請 ICLEI 東亞執行委員台灣席位之高雄李四川副市長、台灣永續發展目標聯盟主席簡又新大使擔任開幕嘉賓和講者，
與台灣 ICLEI 會員城市， 共同交流各城市永續氣候行動與未來願景藍圖規畫，討論如何提升臺灣城市 永續發展的全球承諾與在地能量，
以及 ICLEI 與其網絡夥伴進一步協助與支持城市的可能性與方向。
